Early life :
Amy Jade Winehouse was born September 14, 1983. She was the youngest child of Mitch, a taxi driver and Janis, a pharmacist. Amy sang so much when she was little that teachers had problems keeping her quiet in school. When she was 14 she began to write her own music. Later she started singing with a group called the Bolsha Band. And in 2002 she was signed to Simon Fuller's 19 Management.
